Milithia is a four-piece thrash death metal band, formed in 2025. The band are known for their power, skill and aggressive yet personal message of freedom of speech. Combining the pace and aggression of thrash metal, with the brutal and heavy nature of death metal, the band creates a sound that is both destructive yet melodic, with heavy riffs, dynamic changes, melodic leads, technical solos and powerful breakdowns that make for an energetic and overwhelming experience, whether the listener be in a live setting or in a studio.

The four members of Milithia, Rogiér (guitar), Joek (guitar and vocals), Minck (drums) and Nathan (bass) combined together, create a tight sound and a sound that demonstrates clear unity and passion through the members. All of the members have contributed to making the band both aggressive and melodic, through both live shows and studio recording, resulting in music that is both heavy and melodic, balanced with skill, tone and rhythm.

Founded in the principles of free speech, standing up for one's rights and not caring what other people think of you, Milithia express their themes through their music; which ranges from songs about struggle and resistance, to songs about hate, anger, unity and having a voice, with the band refusing to jump onto popular fads in music, opting instead for music that is real and from the heart.

The band, formed in 2025, have since played a variety of live shows, and are beginning to make a reputation for themselves. Live shows have proved to be the ideal place to convey Milithia's music, and has allowed for aggressive riffs, skillful drumming, melodic lead work, heavy jazzy bass tones, with a real feeling of atmosphere and unity between the four band members. Milithia's aggressive breakdowns, perfectly synchronised performances and emotionally driven sections ensure the crowd have a very memorable and meaningful experience, in which both musician and audience create unity with each other, through shared expression.

The band take inspiration from all old thrash metal acts as well as death metal acts but with a melodic lead guitar that makes the band stand out compared to the other thrash death metal bands of this generation. It can be said that Milithia are well practiced in their playing, demonstrating not just the ability to produce heavy guitar work and the use of both clean and dirty guitar tones. They are able to seamlessly transition between melodic leads and harsh, aggressive playing.

In July 2026 Milithia will release there debut EP, that will embody the speed, aggression, melodic leads and emotional depth that the band has. This release will provide them with a greater platform in the metal community.

They also have a host of future gigs, where the band will showcase their talent. As they increase their ambition and dedication, the band strive to achieve great things. Milithia stand for more than the music itself.

They stand for unity, resistance and the belief that one is free to express oneself; something that only goes to make there passion and talent, stronger. With their base of support, their music, their image and there passion, Milithia are rising, not just in thrash death metal, but as true artists in general.
